About the Merry Christmas Baby website

Merry Christmas Baby is an music album made by a group of high profile New Zealand artists to benefit Plunket and New Zealand families.

Springload was commissioned to make a website showcasing the album, tell its story and to give people an opportunity to purchase the album and ultimately support Plunket NZ.

This was another heavy image based website that I completed the Front-end development on. The navigation was fully image based requiring a hover that overlapped other navigation elements. This was done using absolutely positioned alpha transparent images. Another effect was the rollover effect on the landing page image which again used a alpha transparent image and the IE PNG Fix 2.0 Alpha 4 technique for IE 6.
